This is an old hand painted Republic Period vase made in China ca 1940s or earlier. The vase is finely hand painted with a scene with peacock bird on rocks with blooming flowers and has lingzhi mushroom etc. patterns at the top and bottom rims. It is also decorated with Chinese calligraphy text in black and red. Marked to the bottom with stamped what looks to be Qianlong mark in red. In excellent condition ! No chips or cracks! Measurements: 22 cm high x 13 cm wide. Weighs ~630 grams.
