Description:
An antique Chinese blue and white porcelain bowl, dating to the late Ming Period (1368-1644) Transitional Period.
The outer surface is hand painted with scattered flowers, a cross-hatched and floral border above, and a 'sunburst' border below. Internally the bowl has two rows of concentric double rings with a stylised flower to the centre. The upper rim is unglazed.
The bowl stands on a short unglazed foot with a simple closed lotus flower mark at the centre.
